How can you add, clone, reorder, and delete a scene from my video?

In the Rocketium Editor, you can add, clone, reorder, and delete scenes.

Add a scene

Click on the '+' icon to add a new scene to your video. You can add a new scene in between 2 existing scenes as well.

Delete a scene

To delete a scene, click on the dropdown below the scene number, and select Delete.

Reorder scenes

To reorder a scene, drag and drop it using the icon next to the scene number.

How can you translate my video to other languages?‌

Rocketium allows you to translate your video to over 100+ languages.

To translate your video, go to the video library. Here click on the options of the video you want o ttranslate and click the 'translate video' button. You can then choose the appropriate source language and target language and click on Translate.

It is important to note that this feature is available only on the Team Plan. To know more, click here.

How can you access Rocketium's media library?

You can access Rocketium's media library by clicking on the 'upload' button.

Then click on the 'search' icon to access our collection of royalty-free media. Add a keyword in the search bar and hit the search option. You can also toggle between images, videos and GIFs

How to add a thumbnail?

If you are uploading your video to Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, it will let you add a thumbnail from there itself. You will not be able to do it with Rocketium specifically.

How do I make a square or vertical video?

With Rocketium, this is just a one click activity. You'd see the 5 options in the Aspect ratio feature we provide. Just login to your account, go to ASPECT RATIO, and you will see these options:

Landscape videos are more suitable for sharing on YouTube.

Portrait or vertical videos for sharing on Instagram Stories and Whatsapp videos.

Square for sharing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Facebook Cover Video for sharing a video as your Facebook Cover. [New]

Instagram Ads for sharing a video as an Instagram native ad. [New]

The best part about this feature is the text is "Auto-fit", so everytime you change the aspect ratio, you will not need to adjust the font size, it will adjust itself as per the aspect.

You can publish your video in these 5 different aspect ratios depending on where you want to post them. If you want to create videos in all the 5 aspect ratios, the best practice is to create clones of the original and publish it. This way, you'll retain the settings for the different copies, if you plan to edit them again

How do I download my video?

This process needs you to :- 1) Navigate to https://rocketium.com/app/workspaces . 2) Move to the now to the desired video. 3) Click on the more options to see the option for download:

My video is fading out to a black frame at the end. How do I prevent this?

This feature can be achieved by ,Finding the "TOGGLE' CTA to Fade-in video and Fade-out Audio as shown below,

If the TOGGLE is set to 'ON' by default, that means your video will fade-out (Just in case the TOGGLE isn't turned 'OFF)'.

How many workspaces can I create in Rocketium?

It is possible to make multiple workspaces in Rocketium based on the features plan you are enrolled into. Further clarifications will be made by your respective account manager.‌

How can you hide the logo in one scene?

This can be done by enabling the editor screen in your Rocketium account. Given below are the exact steps to be followed:

How can you access premium images in Rocketium? (like Shutterstock and Lobster images)

The premium images which are available from banks like Shutterstock and Lobster can we accessed directly from your editing screen. Here are the steps to access premium images using Rocketium:

When and where do I get notified?

On all the latest updates and task completion, we get notified on the bottom left-hand side of your page.‌

At your workspace, you will see a 'bell' icon which will generate a notification when your video has been generated and is ready to be shared or exported.

How do you apply Italics to your caption?

Here are the steps to apply Italics to the captions of a video using Rocketium:

1. Add captions to your video in the workspace.

2. After you have added the caption, double click on the word you want to change to Italics, to gain access to the caption settings.

3. Click on the ' i ' button to change the highlighted word to Italics and you are done!

How can you set the duration of the captions for my video?

The timings of the caption is the most important factor for the right video, the caption timings are editable and can be changed from our Rocketium editor. Given below are the steps to set the duration of the captions for your video using Rocketium:

1. Add captions to your video in the Rocketium Workspace, like so:

2. Click on the 'timing' button to access caption duration settings. Here you can set the duration for the caption which will then get applied to your video.

How can you switch between captions within a scene?

In a scene, there can be multiple captions. So here are the steps to add multiple captions within a scene and to switch between them:

How do you make your first video using Rocketium?

Rocketium is an online video making platform that allows you to create multiple videos within minutes.

Here are the steps to create your first video using Rocketium:

5. To add a voice-over, click on the 'voice-over' button to access voice-over settings. Here you can either record your own voice-over or upload one of your choice from your system:

6. To add captions to your video, type into the space as shown below. You can also change the font, color and background color of your caption by clicking on it.

7. To add background music, click on the 'music' icon where you can either choose to apply any of the in-house music or upload one of your choice from your system.

8. Once you are happy with what you have created, click the 'save video' button to either save it or directly export it to a social media platform of your choice:

What are the various pricing plans for Rocketium?

Rocketium offers various plans for its customers. You can customize your plans according to your firm's needs, the number of videos you make and the number of members on your team.

We have a new plan for video creators who have very few monthly video requirements, but need more customization options. This is the Essential plan priced at $9 per month billed annually. We have also scrapped the Business plan and have moved all its features to the Team/Agency plan.

How can I remove or adjust the volume of the background music of my video?

Here are the steps to remove or adjust the volume of the background music of a video:

1. Click on the video you have created in your workspace to access the video settings:

How can I remove/change the shadow to my text?

Here are the steps to remove/change the shadow to the text of your video:

2. To darken or add the shadow effect, click on the captions on the right side of your screen to access the caption settings.

How do you add pictures/videos from my computer?

How do you upload a logo to your video?

Here are the steps to upload a logo to your video using Rocketium:

How can you add an image or a video to a clip in a video?

There are numerous ways you can add an image or a video clip to your video. It is important to note that you can only add one image or video clip, per scene. You can add an image or video clip by clicking on the 'upload' icon.

Here area few variants as to how you add an image or a video clip to your video:

1. In-house images and video clips: Rocketium provides over 2 billion royalty-free images and video clips to choose from. After clicking the upload button, you need to click on the 'search' icon to access these images and video clips. To find what you want, enter relevant keywords, and pick what you like:

2. Uploading image: You can also directly upload an image or a video directly from your computer. You can do this by clicking the 'upload' icon, like so:

How many videos can I make per List in a Workspace?

There is no restriction on the number of videos you can add to each list in a Workspace.

How do you add solid colors as the background to my video?

Here are the steps to add solid colors to the background of your video:

1. In your workspace, click the 'upload' icon to access media settings:

2. Click on the 'brush' icon. This where you can pick the color for your background and then pick confirm to apply the color as background to your video.

How can you add a color gradient as a background in my video?

Here are the steps to add a color gradient as a background to a video:

1. In your workspace, click on the 'upload' button to access media settings

‌2. Here, click on the 'paint' option. Select the color gradient of your choice and click confirm to apply this to your video:

How can you share my videos?

Here are the steps to share your video:

1. Once you have finished making your video, click on the 'finish video' button and then press export.

2. You will then be redirected to the page where you can access the share settings. Click on the 'share' icon to access this.

3. Here you can share your video or the URL of your video to the social media platform of your choice!

Can you resell your videos that you create on Rocketium to a third-party?

Selling rights depend from plan to plan.

Do you support languages other than English?

We at Rocketium support almost all languages and add fonts on request to help you make the video in your native language.

With Rocketium, you can translate all the text content in your video to any of the 100 languages in a click. Yes, just one click!

This feature lets you translate the content without changing the theme and the media of the video. So a brand new video to be shared with the same story for an audience that understands a different language in an instant.

Is Rocketium compliant with GDPR?

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new comprehensive data protection law that comes into effect on May 25, 2018. It will replace the existing EU Data Protection law to strengthen the protection of personal data and the rights of the individual. It will be a single set of rules which govern the processing and monitoring of EU data.

How is Rocketium preparing for GDPR?

At Rocketium, we have been working towards approaching GDPR compliance and build a strong data protection framework for all our users from a few months now. This is a massive overhaul of our processes and product features to ensure we’re meeting obligations and implementing the right actions for our users.

When does your video count reset?

Your video count resets every month & the date and time starts from when you signed up.

If you've upgraded to a plan, the count resets on the date and time you signed up for the plan, every month. You can check the date of renewal by self.

Click on the 'Videos Remaining' counter in the top right corner of your Dashboard.

How can your team and you login in through multiple devices?

‌,

When you access the Rocketium Editor on multiple devices (or on multiple tabs/windows in the same device) there is a high probability that your changes will not be saved. So, in order to prevent data loss, we enforce our users to log in from one device at a time.

In case you see the message below, it is possible you have logged in from more than one device.

If you work in teams, and you wish to share your work with them, you can sign up for our Agency Plan, which is custom made for video creation teams.

In the Team/Business plan, you can create teams, invite team members, collaborate together, comment on videos, and get your videos reviewed before you publish them.

"I am on a paid plan, but I can still see your logo and outro." How can you fix this?

To get a complete idea of the features of your current plan, you can check this out.

To remove the Rocketium logo, go to Logo in the left panel and select 'Remove Logo'

If this does not work, please check your video count from the Dashboard. It is there in the top right corner of your screen. Click on it. If the count is 0 and you are within the renewal date, all your published videos will come with the Rocketium logo and watermark.

You can either buy extra credits or you can save your video as a draft (click here to know how) and publish them once your cycle is renewed.

Glossary of the terms used in Rocketium Workspace

Card: A card is used as a video representation. Multiple cards can be present in lists. Each card can have one video assignee. Note: If a card has a play button, it means that video is generated, if not, it is a video draft.

List: A list is a collection of cards. Multiple lists can be created and deleted. Each list can have one dedicated assignee or owner.

List Assignee: A list assignee is a member of the workspace the list is in. When a card is moved to this list, the video owner is automatically updated to the list assignee. Example:: Stella is in charge of reviewing videos before they're published, hence she is the list assignee for "To Be Reviewed" list.

Owner: The email id for whom the Workspace has been set up is the owner. An owner has all permissions of the admin plus a few more privileges like deleting workspace, changing user roles, etc. Please refer to the Permissions article for more info on this.

Video assignee: A video assignee is the owner of a video. A member can own multiple videos, but one video can have only one assignee. Example: Jack is really good at making content for sports videos, thus admin always makes him the video assignee for any sport-related videos.

Workspace: A workspace is a collection of different lists of videos. Each workspace has one owner, multiple admins and team members.

Is the Rocketium video-making tool free?

If you are looking for a free video making tool, you have come to the right place!

After sign-up, Rocketium allows users to access the basic plan, which covers:

1. 3 videos per month

2. Uploading your own logo

3. Uploading your own music and font

4. Downloading the video you created

5. Sharing it to the social media platform of your choice; and

6. Adding other team members to the workspace

However, with a paid plan, Rocketium allows you to customise your subscription according to your needs. Check out our subscription plans to know more!

It is also important to note that, with a paid plan you can create up to 10 videos in 1080p, unlike the Paid Plan which allows only up to 3 videos in 720p. Also, with the Free Plan, you will not be able to remove the watermark in your video unlike the Paid Plan which allows you to remove the watermark.

How can you make your video fit in the frame?

You can fit your video in the frame without cropping by simply changing the aspect ratio of the video using the Rocketium software.

For example, your video would have probably been in landscape form but you've been converted to the square form. To change this, press the 'aspect ratio' icon in your workspace to change the form, like so:

Can you change the color of the templates built by the Rocketium design team?

It is not possible to change the color of the pre-built templates by the Rocketium design team. However, by subscribing to Rocketium's paid plan, you can get in touch with our design team who will make changes according to your liking.

How many lists can you make in a Workspace?

There are no restrictions on the number of lists you can make per Workspace.

How do you add templates to my video?

Here are the steps to add a template to your video:

How do you add comments/reviews to a video?

To add a comment/review to a video, simply press the 'comment' button on the top-right side of your page, like so:

How can you delete a video?

Before you proceed, it is important to note that only the Admin can delete a video.

You can delete a video by clicking on the settings of the video you want to delete in the workspace. Here you will be able to view the delete button. Simply click on this button to delete your video.

How can you move a video from one List to another?

Here are the steps to move a video from one List to another:

1. In your workspace, access the list settings

2. Here you will be able to view the list of videos.

3. To move a video from one List to another, simply drag and drop to the List of your choice:

Why is your screen stuck at loading?

Please check if you’re on the company’s network or a private network. Most company networks put up firewalls as a security measure.

Is the media library copyright free? In case you get a copyright issue:

To clarify, the music provided in the Rocketium library is indeed royalty-free and is attributed to the original musician as required at the start of every video. All of the music has been acquired legally (paid and unpaid) and is free to use for commercial purpose as well.

The problem lies with the social media channels as they aren't able to ascertain the usage rights on the original music and quite blatantly, for the lack of information, issue a blanket warning to everyone if they find that a music piece is used in another video.

The Owner of this content should be attributed as the source by putting the required name details on the image/ video in the bottom right corner. No further action is required by the user.

Why was your payment declined:

Declines happen for a variety of reasons. When a charge is submitted to the bank, the automated systems decide whether or not to accept the charge. The systems take your spending habits, account balance, card information (expiry date and CVC) into account.

Sometimes even if all the card information is correct, a card maybe declined in future because these signals are constantly changing.

Rocketium either crashes or works too slow. How could you address this?

Rocketium is a video creation tool that renders and generates your video online. However, the entire process depends on certain hardware specifications of your device too.

We have seen this issue with older devices running versions of Windows 7 or later. Please check your device's processor and RAM specifications. This might happen also happen if your browser has not been updated in a while. Please check your browser for latest updates.

If you are on Chrome and still find Rocketium immensely slow, there might be a server update going on at our end. Wait for some time and Rocketium would come back, better than ever. If nothing else works, please reach out to us via webchat.

How many scenes can you add in a video?

Yes, there is a limit to the amount of media you can upload.

You can upload one media per scene. The maximum number of scenes you can add depends on the plan you're on.

BASIC Plan: 20 scenes per video PROFESSIONAL Plan: 40 scenes per video EXPERT Plan and above: 50 scenes per video

How do you log in to your Rocketium account?

To log in to your Rocketium account, head to the log-in page, add your log-in details and simply press log in.

Where can you view your saved drafts?

You can see all your videos - Drafts and Published, in your Library.

All drafts are marked as 'Drafts'. You drafts are saved automatically, and you can edit them at any time

Will you get a receipt/invoice after your transaction has been processed? Where can you find your invoice?

Yes, you will receive a receipt on your registered email address after a successful payment.

How do you cancel or renew your subscription?

All subscriptions renew automatically on the billing date, every month if you're on the Monthly plan, and every year if you're on the Annual plan.

You can cancel a subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription go to Settings from your Dashboard, and select the Subscriptions tab.

You can continue using our services for the current period and you'll be downgraded to the Basic plan, thereafter, on your next billing date. You can re-subscribe to these subscription plans at any time.

You will still be able to view and download all your videos you've made so far. If you want to delete you account and data, please write to us at contact@rocketium.com

How to save a video as a template?

Here are the steps to save a video as a template so that you can re-use it for making videos later:

1. Create a video in Rocketium

2. Apply media animation, orientation, overlays & save it as a template under the Export Settings.

Now with the template you just saved, you can create multiple videos.

Once you have created the video, you can now save and export your video to the social media platform of your choice.

Now with the saved template, you can generate the JSON file by going to the sharing options.

Do not forget to save the video as a template, otherwise you might get an error message and a code will not be generated.

You will also be able to see the advanced code by clicking the toggle button. This will expand the basic JSON code to the advanced version.

How do you upload a picture and apply a white background?

Here are the steps to upload a picture and apply a white background:

1.Upload media:

Click on the upload button to choose the image you want to edit.

2. Set scene background:

Once you have uploaded, press on the image to view the editing bar. Here you will spot the 'color' icon.

Once you click the 'color' icon, you will be able to see the list of background scenes you can apply to your image.

You can also apply this setting to all the scenes of your video, without having to revisit again.

Once you're done, you will be able to view the image in white background.

How do you add animations? Is it possible to add these to your video?

Yes, you can add animations to your video. Rocketium provides an array of animation options you can add to your video.

Here are the steps to add animation to your video:

1. After you have uploaded your video/image, click on it to view the editing bar

2. Click on the 'media animation' icon to view animation options. Here you can easily apply these options to your video by clicking on the animation option of your choice.

3. Under the editing bar, you will also be able to view other animation options like 'scene animation' where you can add fade in and out from left or right.

4. You can also add transition effects to your video by click the 'transition' icon

5. If you want more animation options, click on the 'see more' icon. You will then be redirected the Rocketium app store where more animation options are available and easily applicable to your video.

Do we provide custom templates?

Yes, you can create custom templates by yourself. Rocketium has introduced this concept through collections. Collections are pre-existing image templates that you can use while creating a video. Rocketium also provides you with a blank template that you can use to create your own.

To access these pre-existing image templates or the 'Blank Template, click on the '+' icon in your workspace to view the collection of templates. There is also a whole set preset when you click on 'See all'.

Also, once you have created your video using the template you have selected, you can save this template for later so that you can use it over and again. You can save it under 'Export Settings' like so:

This will get saved under 'My Scenes', which you can access while making your next video.

You can also subscribe to our Agency plan which will make you eligible for customized templates. Under the Annual Plan, you will be eligible for 2 free custom templates and under our Monthly Plan, the customized templates will be created for you but chargeable at $150 per template.

How do you remove the loop on your video?

There are a number of reasons you might be seeing this:

1.Your video is not playing in full. 2.Your video is repeating itself. 3.You need to adjust the speed of the video.

You will get these options on the timing section if your media is a video, .Playback Speed 2.Loop 3.Playfull

Please note in the green coloured section that the total video is 11:04secs but the scene time is set to 1:02secs. If you want the video to play in full, please (right check) the 'Play Full' option.

The 'Loop' option will be used when you want the Scene to be of 15secs in total but video is only 11:04secs. If you (right check) 'Loop'- the rest 3.96 seconds the same video will repeat.

The 'Playback Speed' can be used to show special effects such as 'Slow Motion' or 'Time-lapse' in the video.

The total time of the scene will always be equal to the end-time of the last caption.

If your video is fading out to a black frame at the end. How do I prevent this?

Under Export Settings you'll see two options - 1. Fade-out Video 2. Fade-out Audio

The TOGGLE is 'ON' by default

Turn off the TOGGLE for Fade-out Video to disable this feature & avoid video from fading out to a black frame at the end.

How to add a thumbnail to video from Rocketium?

If you are uploading your video to Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, it will let you add a thumbnail directly on the platform. Rocketium doesn't have this feature enabled currently.

How can you upload a custom font?

To upload a font of your own you need to be under Expert/Agency plan.

1. Login to your Rocketium Account.

2. Go to your workspace, create a new video/edit an existing video.

3. Click on the caption on video & follow the steps as in the images below -

All the custom fonts uploaded by you will now appear under 'My Fonts'.

How do you Preview your video?

You can easily preview the video you created before exporting it. As you'll notice, the video editing platform is divided into two parts- the editor (on the left) and the preview (on the right).

On the preview part of the page, you will notice a 'play' button as highlighted below. Click on the icon to preview your video before exporting.

If you cannot see the themes. Have we removed them?

Not to worry, but all our Themes have been converted to Collections. This why you are not able to see Themes. We have now introduced a new concept called Collections which are pre-set video templates which has various layouts. There is a wide array of options for you to choose from.

To access the Collections, press on the '+' icon in your workspace. From this, you can either choose from the list of collections available or choose a 'Blank Template'. You can also click on 'See all' to gain access to all the pre-set templates

How do you copy a video from one workspace to another?

To copy a video from one workspace to another -

1. Login to Rocketium 2. Select the workspace which has the video you wish to move/copy 3. Click on the ellipses to the right of the video

4. Click on the drop down & choose the workspace where to want to copy the video

5. Enable the check box to 'Create a copy of this video' & click on copy

The video will be successfully copied.

How can you change the color of your caption and its background?

Font color is a styling feature of captions, all the styling features of the caption come up with a single click on the caption. You can change the color of the caption, highlighted words in a caption and the background color of the caption too.

Here are the steps on how to change caption color and its background:

2. Click on the caption box on the preview side of the page, to access caption settings:

4. Click on the ''text' icon to change color of the caption text:

5. To change the background of your caption, click on the 'background' icon:

6. To highlight certain words of the sentence, you can do so from the formatting options that show up after you select a word in the editor, in the left half of the screen.

7. To change the color of the selected word, go to the color options, in the preview on the right where you have access the 'highlight' button.

How do you recover your Password?

Not to worry! You can easily recover your password by clicking on the 'reset password' button in the log in page.

You will immediately be redirected to the password recovery page, where all you have to do is enter your registered email ID and a link will be sent to you to reset your password.

After clicking the upload button, you need to click on the 'search' icon to access these images and video clips. To find what you want, enter relevant keywords and pick what you like:

There are no restriction on the number of videos you can add to each list in a Workspace.

In the Rocketium Editor, you can add, clone, reorder and delete scenes.

Add a scene

Click on the '+' icon to add a new scene to your video. You can add a new scene in between 2 existing scenes as well.

To delete a scene, click on the dropdown below the scene number, and select Delete.

Clone a scene

To clone a scene, click on the dropdown below the scene number, and select Clone.

Reorder scenes

To reorder a scene, drag and drop it using the icon next to the scene number.
