Setting up your Media Library

About media library

The media library in the platform allows your team to store and organize all your visual assets and brand assets in one place for easy accessibility and re-use. Let’s explore this further.

Adding Folders and Media

Media library allows you to easily add frequently used media assets and make these accessible to relevant team members. Here is how you add media assets and folders.
  • Click on the “Media Library” option from the left panel in the dashboard.
  • Click on the “+Add New” button at the top right part of the window.
  • Create a new folder by clicking on the “Folder” option from the drop-down menu. To add a media file directly to the parent directory, click on “Media” option and click on “Choose file(s)” to upload the files.

Removing white background from images

Rocketium uses smart technology to automatically remove white-background from your images and converts them to .png files with transparent background. This is a very powerful feature when you want to use product images in banners and videos.
Here is how to remove the white background from your images while uploading them into your media library.
  • Click on the “Media Library” option from the left panel in the dashboard.
  • Click on the “+Add New” button at the top right part of the video.
  • Click on the “Media” option from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on “Choose image(s) and remove background” and select the files from your device.
The system smartly detects the white-background and removes it from the image and stores the file in the Media Library.

Adding Media Tags

You can add tags to your media files so that they can easily be discovered by anyone in the team for usage in upcoming campaigns.
  • Hover the image thumbnail in Media Library and click on the three dots to open the image options. Click on “Edit tags” options.
  • Add multiple tags that you feel will be relevant to your image and click on the “Update” button.

Bulk tagging images

You can also add tags in bulk for multiple images in one go.
  • Hover on any image in the Media Library and click on the checkbox on the left corner of the thumbnail.
  • Choose all the images you want to add tags for.
  • Click on the “Edit Tags” icon on the top right of the screen.
  • Add multiple tags that you feel will be relevant to your image and click on the “Update” button.
